Ralph,

Regrettably, I did not arrive at TASA in time for the shareholders meeting as Murphy's Law thwarted my well laid plans on the morning of March 27th. Not all was lost as Regina graciously gave me a guided tour throughout the large complex that is TASA headquarters.

While making the rounds and meeting all the great associates who work at TASA I was briefly introduced to Mr. Andrew Simon. During the few moments that we talked I could see that he is a professional and confident individual. Mr. Simon excused himself as the board members and he were conducting a meeting undoubtedly planning and discussing recent events.

Given that fact that I was MIA at the meeting I turn to the press release in an effort to answer your query.

Maybe you can tell me: What is the idea behind this acquisition? IMO it is not obvious how it fits into tasa's business. What is their vision for their company? I think this educational area is promising, but I don't see how there could be synergies derived from this acquisition.

<<Mr. Simon told stockholders ''TASA is currently in both the instructional and assessment segments of the educational marketplace. As part of our strategic plan, we identified expansion into the educational delivery channel as a key objective. Within this new channel, we made the decision to explore acquisitions in the post-secondary proprietary schools market. In our opinion, this category is counter cyclical, has demonstrated strong growth trends, and we anticipate that it will show long-term accelerated growth based upon the changing socioeconomic trends. Finally, the barriers to entry by new competitors is great.>>

<<Touchstone said the purchase is part of its plan to increase its holdings of post-secondary proprietary schools.>>

The above press release snip is jam packed with information that may yield answers to your questions. I am sure that Bob Davis will be adding more analysis and his opinion regarding the acquisition very soon.

IMHO this is a good thing.

Gotta go!

Regards,

Tom
