new to the short thread because i have been trying to catch stocks on the upswing. took a beating last october and lost 60% of my equity by december. will not make that same mistake in this bull run. my short picks for the week: adbe, sold 1k on Friday at 46 13/16. manu, sold 1k on Friday at 51 amzn, sold 300 on Friday at 85 amat, sold 1k at 37 (several weeks ago) ctxs, sold 1k on Thursday at 52. adbe, manu, amzn are all quickie 2-3 day trades. i believe amat will miss by a wide margin and tank to mid 20's. ctxs up 30% in last 2 weeks on no news. will retreat eventually. will respect any opinions in regards to this short portfolio.
