brian, isn't Philips Consumer Communications the unit that LU and PHG formed around June of 1997, resulting in something like a $2.5 billion "company"? This has to be one of the best news of the year. It shows the willingness of a big EU company to move ahead rather than battling out in the court room, especially related to potential W-CDMA IPRs. Based on volume so far, it appears that QCOM is not trading on this news yet. Ramsey
