Barrick is an equity investor in International Freegold, ITF-VSE Freegold has a project 20 miles from Fairbanks, Alaska called the Golden Summit that Barrick is funding through equity investment. On March 1, Barrick bought 1.2 million ITF shares at a price of $1.25, which provides a $1.5 million budget for Golden Summit exploration. Under the terms of the agreement, 95% of the funding must be spent on the project. And ITF is currently trading between .35 and .40!!
