marc, HMAR's announcement suggests the problem is not demand but the timing of upgrades and maintenance on their vessels--taking some of their fleet out of service. While the market may react to the headline of below estimate earnings, the underlying fundamentals still seem good. Though there may be some overoptimism priced into the land drillers, I don't think the offshore drillers are likely to miss. In fact I think they are the most likely group to beat estimates. Picking up any on short term weakness, should pay off well by the time earnings are announced. good luck, Baird
