The Smart Cats systems are already deployed. The way the system works, is for software applications to be developed for each relevant aircraft part. Hundreds of applications have already been developed for a wide range of commercial aircraft.

In fact, I believe RADA has a permanent employee on the floor at Boeing so that their systems are always updated.

The aircraft manufacturers are quite cooperative as this system enhances their own products. The same cooperation, however, does not exist with the Airbus division since they are seen as competitive to the American manufacturers.

As mentioned, RADA's system is already in use by United Airlines and US Air in the States. The order rate with new customers seems to be picking up as well as the beginning of the reorder pattern.

I hope this helps.

Also, if you are really diligent, you might want to call Rada in New York. I don't have the number, but they should be listed in area code 516 under either Rada Electronics or Tasco, the name of their US subsidiary.

Good luck.
