The nice thing about HD is that the earnings are fairly predictable. If the economy slows, the person that used to hire someone to do work for them now will do it themsleves, and if the economy surges, they will have enough disposable income to hire someone. Either way, HD wins. This stock is like three yards and a cloud of dust. Slow but sure. Granted, its heyday of being a super growth stock is over, but so is alot of the risk in terms of earnings dissappointment. Thats what makes this a great defensive play in an otherwise overvalued market.
