Ralph and Thomas -- i think TASA's move into direct delivery of adult education could fit synergistically with the co.'s current expertise. post-secondary/adult education is a growing market. schools and education cos. often, i think, don't do enough up-front assessment of clients' educational and personal career development needs. a lot of the students just plain can't read or have some other fundamental deficits. resources then are misdirected and squandered. TASA's current expertise in reading assessment and learning materials could be put to quick use. i also think that TASA's "foot-in-the-door" of the world of educational and psychological assessment could lead to efficient development or licensed use of other assessment tools in the area of career development and personal growth. (i'm a clinical psychologist and have some sense of the assessment technology available in these areas.) i want to learn more for myself about TASA's actual plans and ability to execute in these areas. a lot of what i'm picturing/hoping re. TASA is obviously speculation at this point. tom phillips
