Mike, we definitely disagree on whether taxes are high or low in this country, and we also disagree on whether people should be judged on their individual merits or their racial or ethnic classifications. Let me just ask you, do you also get angry watching basketball games with the preponderance of just one racial group?
Anyway, back to stocks: I'm still stuck with my position with Novell. I have 12.5 Jan puts but I mishandled this position and I need Novell to go to 9 to break even. I know it eventually will go down there but the problem is whenever it hits 10 it bounces up to 11. I think there are tons of short term traders who play this bounce, so I'm perplexed what to do with my position. Should I buy calls on it at 10 and try to ride it back to 11? I think this is one of those stocks that is being held up by nothing but hot air, but it may take 6 months for its investors to realize this. Any suggestions are welcome.
