Jeff, window dressing is not fiction it is fact and we have to live with it. Wether or not JBIL is a victim of this remains to be seen, however, many friends of mine are portfolio managers and they are participants in this seasonal phenomenon. Ask yourself this "If you were a portfolio manager and had only stocks that had reported or indicated dismal earnings this upcoming quarter in your quarterly report, how smart would you look to your prospective investors?" Once the EOQ is over they can load up on these stocks and nobody knows they own them unitl the end of next quarter, at which time the earnings are behind them and the good news has started coming out.
