Reason for +3/4 and high volume. Volpe Brown also said they expect someone to take a 25% equity stake in AMD. The companies mentioned were IBM, SGS-Thomson, Compaq and a Japanese company I forget. Heard this on CNBC and haven't seen it on this thread yet. Petz
