Re -- They all want a piece of AMD equity. They realized that AMD has a good chance of eating a chunk of market share from Intel.

You kid yourself. AMD can't go beyond the 266Mhz which will be in the sub-500 class of PC's come DEC.

Petz, pls compute AMD's cost per 266Mhz chip on the .25u, and see if AMD can make a profit ever.
