<<3Com for me is a waiting game. But who wants to wait for another year having watched the stock price declining for various quarters in a row already. People they almost lost money in the last quarter ! I have the impression that everybody here wants to ignore this fact !>> Michael: Not I. I held coms for over a year and sold it last week for 36 1/8, almost an exact wash from my purchase price. While I still believe in the long term story of the company, I am concerned, like you,that a market tank would give coms a hyper-accelerated ride down the chute for who knows how long. 3com should do very well over the five year term but I'm pruning a few of my weaker holdings to make sure I've got enough dry powder. Coms certainly could take off and leave me behind but so be it; the risk appears to be significantly more to the downside at this point. I'll be back if I see the mid-20's or a strong upside breakout. Languishing while everyone tries to sort out what it all means in a hyper market isn't my style. Give me a stock making new 52 weeks highs any day! Maybe I'll pick up some more Lu after the split on 4/1. ..Tim
