Ralph, Point taken on the % return. It can be looked at either way. As far as dealing with cash; I did not take into account cash left unused but that would only add to the % return as it would be invested in money market funds most likely. All my PB selections are coming from the weekly reports. I have noticed that occassionally that due to the human aspect at PB that there are errors in the results (i.e. one week all the selections for the shorts were based on EPS=99 rather than RS=99, Jan. 5,1998). I wish the DG online site would be corrected and add a filter system so that one could if wanted run a PB search each night quickly and remove the need for the newspaper. IMF will shortly have such a database for Beta testing. I will keep you informed if you are not following the chat forum. Ed
