Hi Mohan,
Finally got here and it is a nice site; however, although there are many things of the world I need to learn about, I am entirely focused on the market. Namely taking profits.
I just took profit in half my holdings in MSFT, Dell, and MOB. I hate selling but if you notice that tyx (long term rates) is creeping back up to 6% and, given the strength of the economy, I don't see anything on the horizon to stop the ascent. Also, earnings are coming in April and although MSFT has stated that they expect better than estimated, I worry that we might see many at 0.01 or more less than expected. This combined with increasing TYX, could cause a small selloff until some positive equilibrium returns. (i.e. more positive earnings than falling short type and some evidence of a slightly slowing economy). Finally, if you look at the chart below for the S&P for last April, it's kind of scary. Last April was also increasing TYX, Fed raised rates in March or Feb.. chart2.bigcharts.com:80/report?r=cobrand&site=dailystocks&onbad=cobrandsymb&symb=SPX&time=9&uf=0&sid=3377&sec=x&xyz=15391765&s=15562 Just my inexperienced observation. Wondering what you and Sig think? Regards,
