'Fair market valuation' might account for a few percentage points of a price move. Public perception and psychology accounts for almost all of the rest. Oil drillers are in the public doghouse right now, so I won't look for any meaningful appreciation at the moment.

Yeah, when oil prices rise, so will NORT. But first all the buyers in between $2 and $3 will want to salvage their money. Even buyout rumors way back on this thread were for considerably less than $8.

I'd never say we won't get back to $8. Stocks always run in cycles and NORT, too, will recover. But $8 can be 2, 3, or 4 years away from here. I'd be happy just to see recovery to the $2 1/2 or $3 range (before my kid's next tuition payment is due).
