thank you all for your kind words and prayers.GrayStone, I copied Alan's response to me about the transplant. Will be useful in my preparation, GOD willing.I do not see a conflict in God and medicine. Shalom, thank you for your blessings over me, as others I can't remember offhand.
The Apostle Paul let us know that although we can plant and water, it is God that gives the increase. <I Cor. 3:5-8>So to those that have rejected Christ, you have rejected THE VERY CAPSTONE. I pray that your eyes may be opened.
As AMURRICAN citizens, we also have given the right to others to reject Christ and still live here in harmony.(This is just an extension of the "golden rule") You can look back to the beginning and see that the USA was also started as a CHRISTIAN nation. As that reverses itself, God can very well take that away.
BUT; the GOOD NEWS is that our citizenship is not on this earth. But through the SAVING BLOOD OF THE LAMB, we look forward to a home in the pure light and goodness of God. Some day, the Promise is that Christ will return, all will see it as they see lightning from the east to the west, the trumpets will blow, and HIS own will rise up to meet Him in the air, all being changed, and live with Him forever.
Do I know how all this will happen, or when? NO I am not privileged to that information, just that it will happen. WHY?
Remember the old children's song? "the Bible tells me so" Are all my words perfect? NO! HIS are!
In my weakness, I get angry at some of the words spoken about me AND to me, and I can not handle it.And I retaliate. I ask forgiveness for that and will return if I can let God control that for me.
