It would appear we are all doomed to massive losses.....

At a conference in London today, the British Prime Minister Tony Blair, announced that the government is making $50million available to address the millennium bug. It must be great to be born gifted, as the government have worked out how to solve the problem. They are going to use the money to take unemployed people and train them how to be "millennium bug busters".

Why on earth didn't any of us think of that?

I bet Bob Gruder is crying into his beer tonight watching his fortune disappear, as an army of previously unemployed take up the hammer and sickle and forge a new future, re-shaping the mis-written code of their parents.

I bet Ron Bishop over on the Consygen thread is glad he never got rid of his sideline in menswear, as this new move by New Labour is going to have him reaching for his career advisor.

Why oh why when it was all so simple didn't any of us think of it?

I guess the time is now to sell all my Y2K stocks and invest in a trendy restaurant in Islington in the hope that Mr Blair might just eat there one day, and let out another world beating first....

I remain
