earlier this morning, after it opened....it just wasn't showing any immediate follow-through, so, I read what news I could find, and just took it and ran....I figured, it might still follow through, but, I don't know, I just didn't want to hold it into a pullback.... I bought it at 4 3/4 on 1/22/98...please realize, I do not try to be too specific, nor too perfect...just getting "near" a high or a resistance level, after a quick gain like this one had, is normally enuf for me, especially on margin, provided there is readable resistance after a semi-parabolic rise...my usual hold period runs 2-5 months...so I am not an "overnite" trader.....I just tend to take "quick gift gains" and move on....so my "signal" was just 25 years experience, a feeling, bound in historical fact, if that makes sense....I have no emotion or hopes or semi-greed about all this, and if it goes higher, I never lament, if that helps ....to me, it's all about historical patterns, and PSY-chology....best wishes, |
