I think that if Japan collapses it will cause a period of uncertainty for the US markets. In our mania state I wouldn't be surprised if we rally about 500-1000
points from the prospect of new money surging to the US. But when Japan collapses the total destruction of SE Asia and the devaluation of the Chinese
currency is only weeks if not days away. This would spur a total meltdown in both our bond and stock markets. The world would be thrown into a deep
recession and the only safe haven in this new world of crumbling fiats is gold. IMHO.
