The bottom line is that the only news that would move these oil stocks are movements on the per barrel price. Prophet, whilst I agree in principal that we won't see the stock achieve new highs until the oil market again stabilises, and stocks command high PERs, I think there's a very good chance that simply meeting or exceeding the shorter term earnings estimates could easily drive the stock prices higher. i.e. eliminate some of the FUD.
