You're not thinking straight!

...Upgrades happen because the stock has been depressed and the prospects are going to improve.

Ahh. In order to think clearly, investors must accept that the ADBE situation is at rock-bottom? And, by extension, that ADBE should reflect some premium for as-yet unseen performance?

Okay, I'm game. Would you please share how "the prospects are going to improve." (If you would be so kind, please offer specifics beyond 'new products are on the way.')

Also, why was an earnings debacle required to generate "Buy/Strong Buy" recommendations? (Given the long-term nature of the play, and the continued uncertainty of Asia/NA, wouldn't "Neutral/Accumulate" be more believable?)

Any insight is appreciated.
