Robin, I think that the reason that DEC is up today and CPQ is down is because of the Barron's interview with an arb firm called Westchester Capital. They are high on the DEC-CPQ play (sell CPQ, buy DEC) because they think the merger has a very high probability of closing. They see a 34% annualized return if the deal closes at the end of May, though today's action has narrowed the spread (only $2.80 by my calculations) and reduced the return.

I would like to see another bidder come in for DEC, but it does not seem to be happening.
