It's new products are still expected to contribute significantly to 1999 and forward earnings. It's old business is still in the crapper. In this situation, how could one expect earnings for the this coming 2-3 quarters to look good compared to prior years' quarters. If you believe this story and if you are an investor (not an in/out trader seeking a quick profit), I'd think selling now would just play right into the hands of Mr. Short (letting him cover at higher and higher profits). If you and other nervous nellies hold on and refuse to sell to Mr. Short at lower and lower prices, won't he eventually have to cover at higher prices ? The train is still in the station. Are you going to miss it when it leaves sometime during the last half of 1998 ? P
