mb..good report..but you are alittle off when it comes to what a pc needs to do.. when you say that a 500.00 box does it.you have got to mean the systems in a not account company. the systems I'm deploying will not be done by your 500.00 box. I do have a question...since you've made the statement. have you gone into companies that were maxing out the usage of a pc deployment?? But, you are right ..prices or going to drop and guess who will lead the way..same company that dropped them last time...cpq... I sort of laugh when you talk about the Japanese cutting prices. They were use to charging 10-20k for a regular pc and US competitors made them change that lucrative practice. If it was up to NEC pc's would still be 15k in Japan.
