According to what I read - in the new paradigm of the
Telecosm...bandwidth with the new technology will be
cheap AND plentiful.

Well, some traditionalists (call them bellheads, or whatever) think not, and they do have a point in that IP networks do not have the reliability and managebility of the PSTN. They say bandwidth will remain pricey, at least if it has guarantees of quality, and other extras. On the other hand, as L3, QWST et al labor, massive bandwidth is coming online. I figure supply might have a good chance of catching up with demand as these guys get going - at least in the backbone. I guess the question is: which networks will fill what needs? And how quickly will technology iron out IP's little problems? This is not say I am a L3 naysayer. Quite the contrary.
