Okay: I will take a shot at this.,
I just got off the phone with Winspear.
The 400 meter step out hole indicates that the width of the dyke
has been increased from 600 meters to 1000meter. The strike distance is still 1000 meters and open in both directions., so the indicated area of tonnage now sits in an area 1000 meters x 1000 meters. He feels if the diamonds come back favorable he has an
economic source within that area., If one extrapolates then the defined area could very well have doubled. This is a step out hole
400 meters east of the most easterly hole to date in the NW Dyke
penninsula.
Secondly., I asked him about the dykes and kimberlite breccia bodies., they run on a line from 186 to the boulder train found on the
South Shore. They have not drilled the center of the lake. He feels
the source is in the center of the lake., the kimberlite breecia pocket.,
are mini explosions and he feels the area of 186 and the small bodies are leading to the center of the lake. The drill on the Athena
block will be finished drilling in one week. That drill will be moved
to the center of the lake., to source the breccia and dykes.,
In the meantime., the drill on the lake will be broken down and shortly
taken out because of the snow road. The small drill will take its
place on the center of the lake., probably within a week after the
Athena block is drilled which should be complete in one week. They
have 1 month of drilling time on the lake., and the last 2 weeks will
be spent drilling the center area in search of the venting source.
The small drill will stay on the property for the duration of the year.
