Radica continued, April earnings season and Toys r' Us;TMSR:In Perspective.
"...Road shows are boosting high-fliers, too. Executives from handheld electronic games maker Radica Games (RADAF) are trooping through San Francisco, New York and Boston, telling bankers that business has never been better.
Nothing strange there. What's spooky is the company's shares, which are up more than 800 percent in the past year or so, are still hitting all-time highs.
Radica CEO Bob Davids, President Pat Feely and other executives say the company's $15 and $20 games, like Bass Fishin', are getting better placement at giant games seller *Toys 'R Us. At 20 1/2, Radica shares sell for about 13 times current profits, which apparently is enticing enough to keep attracting newÿ investors.
The question executives at steamrolling companies must ask themselves is how to keep enticing new investors in a stock market whose largest companies sell for 25 times current earnings.
It's all about earnings..."
