3, it is my understanding that the timing of options related sales has to do with alternative minimum tax. I'm not an accountant, so I don't know the details of this kind of thing, but as I understand it they must sell for tax reasons. If there is an accountant on the thread perhaps you could explain AMT complexities and ramifications to us, the great unwashed.
