The Days It Rained Skittles The day it rained skittles was on a Saturday morning. The people of Chew and Swallow woke up to find it was raining Skittles for breakfast! And for the rest of the week, every day they got bigger and bigger. One day they were as big as a hotel and smashed 22 houses, 2 sky scrapers, and 8 hotels. So people had to live everywhere had to live with their friends until it stopped. No one could go outside until one day it rained regular sized Skittles and the people of Chew and Swallow had a big celebration. Then they ate themselves sick. People were surprised when the next day it rained Skittles the size of trees for two weeks. One skittle smashed a school 1 billion feet into the ground. Children could still not school because electric clouds were pushed down on days when it did not rain Skittles. The next day it rained Skittles and peas and everyone ate until they were sick. The next day was the worst day of all. A Skittle came down that was so big it covered the whole town. It was a good thing that many people survived. 10 died, 10 were injured, and the rest of the people were fine. The people were getting so sick of Skittles they made a Skittle crushing machine, but there were still too many Skittles and it all went berserk. The people were going insane. 8 months past and nothing happened. So they made a machine with 20 million crushing arms and 20 smashing feet. It was bigger than the United States. So the next day it rained Skittles they turned it on but the Skittles came down too fast and crushed the machine. So the people came up with a plan. They could use Skittles for good use and could build new homes and many other things. It was their only hope to surviving. So they tried and it worked. The people were overjoyed but there was still one big problem: what could they eat? So they called the United States and made them a deal. They would give them the Skittles to put in stores and the United States would give them 10 pounds of every food in the U.S. It was over. Grandpa didn't have time to finish. So the Next day he finished the story. He began, "now where was I?" We shouted, "After they made the deal with the U.S.!!!". "Oh Yeah.", said Grandpa. "Well kids I'm sorry but the story is over."
