From the "analysts speak with forked tongue dept": At the risk of beating a dead horse to death here's an example of an analyst's "expert" advice: Monday March 30, 12:44 pm Eastern Time RESEARCH ALERT - Adobe Systems raised NEW YORK, March 30 (Reuters) - SoundView Financial Group said analyst Russ Crabs raised his short-term rating on Adobe Systems Inc to buy from hold. -- maintained long-term rating on the stock at hold...yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah. Will someone please explain to this apparently confused investor what a "short-term buy" and a "long-term hold" are? Could it mean please buy it now so we can get the hell out and then go to hell...we really don't care how long YOU hold it???!!! Have I made my point about anal-lysts? Good...then my work is done here. Good night all. rocketman P.S. A subtitle to the above could have been: "Buy Adobe and you'll get Crabs!" Yuk...yuk.
