What we have here is a Strategic Inflection. Grove saw it and so will you. Sure INTC will lead in CPU market share, but it doesn't mean profits will follow. Time for the CPU vendors to beat each other senseless for a while. It happens in lots of technology markets and now it is going to happen in the CPU business.

You sound so brainwashed with the "R&D investment" dribble. Foundry business is capital intensive and is a luxury INTC could afford when they had high margins. Look for more "partnerships" for foundry capacity in the future.

Don't brush CSCO with the same brush as INTC. When I sit in front of my computer, I would be no more productive with a 700MHz CPU. I can't even remember the last time I waited for a spreadsheet to recalc. However, I sure as heck want faster "network" access. CSCO has plenty of growth ahead.

Grove got out while he could get out on top! Now you can get out at a mere 25% from the top.

They wouldn't let me use the name FactBoy if these weren't facts now would they?
