Dear Victor - I don't think BAY has hurt anyone, much less CS. CS has itself to blame for its problems. Everyone knows about CS transition [from aging product lines] problems, but noone [maybe people have talked about it, but I don't track CS and don't hang out in CS thread] talks about its problems with CSCO in the Summer of 96. CS was a bad boy of networkers in terms of sale pitch. Back then, it tried to take on CSCO in what the latter might have deemed a distasteful way. If memory serves, CSCO has even threatened to revoke its IOS license to CS. Of course, my memory is kinda faulty in my old age <g>, so please correct me if I am wrong.
