I'm surprised that there's been no reaction here to the following:

DALLAS, March 30: Triton Energy Ltd. said Monday it had hired two Wall Street houses to help it find ways to maximize shareholder value, including the possible sale of its stake in South American oil fields.

Triton said it had hired Lehman Brothers Inc. and CIBC World Markets Lovegrove & Associates to study the strategic alternatives.

The oil and gas company's stock was halted from trading by the New York Stock Exchange, news pending. The last sale before the halt was 34-11/16.<<

I wonder if outright sale of the company will be considered as well? Or if this announcement may stimulate than kind of interest?
