Howdy do Craig,
Not a whole lot of substance to report but here is a bit of an update:

CARBITE UPDATE

The dual density putter is now being manufactured by Teledyne in Huntsville Alabama. Teledyne is a major NASA contractor and their expertise in the fabrication of titanium makes them a logical player for the manufacture of the putter.

The company's robotic tester for the putter is called "Yipless". Apparently it is provides a very impressive display of the putter's capabilities vis-…-vis the enlarged sweet spot. This machine is being used at trade shows and performs very well. "Actions speak louder than words".

I understand that the Taylor Made exclusive 2 year contract to use the inserts expires in January 1997. Whether Carbite will extend the contract or not is unknown at this time. Recently I saw an infomercial where it was trying to imitate the Carbite technology. An adhesive sticky patch is applied to the club face to increase the friction.

Carbite's 3rd Q earnings are expected out some time soon. Maybe even next week. They continue to be impressive. Current share value is C$1.40. A steal in my opinion, but again, it's only my opinion.

Anyway, there it is. I think that the Q1 1907 will see Carbite begin to blossom. We'll see.

Bill
