HORSHAM, Pa., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- General Instrument Corporation
(NYSE: GIC) announced today that its Corporate Communications and Investor
Relations functions have moved to its new corporate headquarters at
101 Tournament Drive, Horsham, Pa. 19044. Effective with this date the former
corporate office in Chicago, Ill. is now closed.
Horsham, Pa., in addition to being the General Instrument corporate
headquarters, is the headquarters for the following strategic business units
of the company: Digital Network Systems, Advanced Network Systems, and
Transmission Network Systems. The company's Satellite Data Networks will
continue to be based in San Diego, Ca.
