I was thinking in terms ofthe two events you described: 1) in May 98 there is the release of preliminary data and in early 99 the end of Phase III. Its possible for delays and other events to occur at other times, I suppose. I would agree the modes are different for the two events. I would subjectively put the probability of favorable data being released in May 98 at under 1/3. The reason its low is that (IMHO) most of the clinic population will not have had enough time to see a response sufficient to motivate an early filing.
