Burt, Re -- AMD price has exploded to the upside lately on rumors... Here are some FACTS on AMD. -- AMD has said they will have SIGNIFICANT LOSSES this Q. -- AMD's CFO has resigned!!! -- AMD has signed a manufacturing deal with IBM. AMD's fabs with 60-80% yields on .25u would be sufficient to satisfy demand for this year. -- AMD has delayed the K6-3D .25u which was supposed to be shown/intoduced at CeBIT to late June. -- AMD has NOT publicly announced that the .25u at Fab 25 is in operation. -- The AMD distributers say that the K6-266 is in short supply, which one can infer that these are made at their research labs. -- The celeron chips will effectivlely isolate AMD to sell chips at very low ASP's. Given the above and many more other facts. AMD is really in DEEP DOO DOO despite what the ignorant analysts say. Stockman
