Violetta - don't despair but here is a few tidbits that I have picked up concerning penny stocks over the years. They may help.
1) When everyone is saying sell and your gut feel says sell. Check the fundamentals -and if they are still good -buy some more at the lower price.
2) When the market is ignoring a stock -that is the time to watch and maybe buy it.
3) When a stock is near its all time high -and people are telling you to buy. Sell half of what you bought to cover some or all of your cost.
4) People will always say diversify to limit the risk. If you do diversify too much you may as well quit the market because on average you will lose. Pick one two or three good ones and sit.
5) Don't be afraid to make 25%. It is much better than the bank.
6) Don't play with money that you can't afford to lose!!!!!
7) Play in your rrsp if you can. It makes accounting easier and you will never have to sell a stock because you need the money.
8) Listen to brokers -then do the opposite.
9) If you know an insider -buy them lunch.
10) Don't play on margin and don't play options unless you are a very sophisticated player.
