TORONTO, March 31 /CNW/ - Mr. Nagy Moustafa, President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Diversinet
Corp. (NASDAQ: DVNTF; CDN: DVNT) announced today the appointment of Mr. Ralph Philipps to the position of Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of Diversinet Corp., effective March 31, 1998.
Mr. Philipps brings to Diversinet over 15 years of senior financial management experience. Most recently he was the Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer at GalaVu Entertainment Inc., an in-room information and entertainment technology
company to the lodging industry, where he provided the financial guidance to the company's planning, financing and acquisition
activities. Mr. Philipps has held various senior financial positions including Vice President Finance, with Rogers Cable TV, a
division of Rogers Cablesystems Limited, Canada's largest cable television company. Mr. Philipps holds a chartered accountant
designation.
