Bull,
>>>>If you work in a large company, ask-and the answer you'll probably get will be NO! Anyone here that has ever owned a company, would certainly not want one of their employees going into competition with them. Zip is for consumers, graphics, and SOHO types only. A decent size market, never the less. <<<<
I'm sure some companies are like that. However that is not the case where I work - the largest aerospace company in the world (take a guess). This company, while it has a lot of secret work that can't be taken home, also has a lot of work with government agencies (NASA, NOAA) and with other companies where the work isn't quite as sensitive. If I wasn't able to take non-sensitive work on Zip disks home, I would never, ever be able to keep up. As you might know, we win quite a lot of business using innovative ideas. Most of us are so busy we don't have the time to even think of new projects while at work. Because the company trusts us (we are, after all, the company's only true assets), we keep winning new business by dreaming and working at home.
