Anthology of Truly Offensive Posts, Continued: Ideological Abuse
246910: Please don't take offense at my decision to post these tidbits to you. I have done so for two reasons: 1) they have to be posted to somebody, and 2)since you raised the issue of standards, and at one point suggested searching SI for the use of the words "nigger," "kike," and "queer," you seemed logically the right "somebody."
As can be seen from the following excerpts, posts of the homophobic, xenophobic, anti-Semitic, etc. varieties generally don't use time-tested terms of abuse (like "nigger," "kike," or "queer"). They either use grosser, more up-to-date terms (as in #2 of the posts cited earlier in "Low Class Abuse" category), or wrap it all up in ideological justifications.
So, on to the matter at hand.
Category Three: "Ideological Abuse"
On SI, usually generated when Crusading Christians and Freethinkers raid one another's turf, although members of the same camp on occasion turn on one another. Characterized by High Dudgeon. Unconvincing attempt sometimes made to distinguish the sinner from the sin (i.e., I love you, but abhor your sin).

XX, I would remind all here that because we paid to come here, and we don't spend our money on booze or drugs and have some to invest, that we assume everyone here is really a hard-working good guy....I know that this foul man comes mainly from the worst of the unbelieving threads, and I might find that he has been banished from all decent ones, who knows In real life he would have a restraining order against him and be under surveillance. If it does not please you to type responses to demons, then don't. It is definitely a matter for Jill to define. What goes on here is as unacceptable and repugnant as in the world where people are protected by those paid for such endeavors. And those who so amuse themselves are often arrested. SI has its counterpart, thank God....Cyber stalkers should not be tolerated...in a climate such as SI where one pays to avoid the general sewer of thought on the net at large. This is not moving toward "conversion" -- it is moving toward more and more spiritual filth. His mouth is a vast cavern spewing forth the offal from Hades. And you are all wallowing in it.
2. You are right that outside of Jesus any sin no matter how trivial will damn the person who committed it. Outside of Jesus the law of sin and death judges all people. The sin of homosexuality is one of the worst in the Old Testament Law calling for the offender to be stoned to death, but so also were the adulterers and children who were disobedient to their parents. Imagine that one, I doubt too many parents would do that to their unruly child. But the sin of homosexuality is different as Paul explains in Romans, the person who practices that sin is reprobate....If you are a Christian don't be used by the devil to advocate homosexual rights because you would be advocating what God has condemned.
3. You are truly an ignorant man and for that you have my sympathy. You need a child-like explanation supported by those who you worship (the Jimmy Swaggarts of the world) to satisfy your own personal inability to accept the miracle of universe for what it is. Your unbounded selfishness drives you to find something which will promise you eternity, however hollow....You are arrogant, ignorant, delusional and quite frankly, living in a sort of state of mental disease not unlike that which cult de-programming experts have to face. Don't waste your time trying to convince me that your ignorant murderous cult has any value because it doesn't...
4. You do not fit in a free and Christian society with freedom of speech and the free exchange of ideas. You belong in a Nazi concentration camp or in a Communist Gulag -- as a guard -- or better yet, you belong in the Israeli state where you could bash or shoot off -- with American-financed machine guns -- the heads of those pesty rock-throwing Palestinian children who disagree with your heretical views and cry out, Juden uber alles in Yiddish and pretend its Hebrew....XX, I love you and XXX and XXXX, but you are bona fide heretics. It does not mean that you are not Christians, but that you are so indoctrinated by the world that you cannot let the Word of God shape your emotions and thoughts. American Mythology and Zionist fables have warped the teachings of the Gospel.
Not necessarily the best selection -- but I can only read so much of this stuff!
