Hi Jason, I just saw this old message for me. Most likley someone has answered it already, but if not, here is my take.

Iomega has a working 200 meg zip in the lab, that would be 400 compressed if you like compression.

As far as having to buy a newer model to use the 200 meg, most likely you will. Although, I think the 200 meg drives will be able to read the old 100's.

When are they coming out? Who knows. Iomega maybe does not want to upset the apple cart right now by introducing it. And, of course they are most likely still be perfecting it. I think it was Dugasarc@aol.com that pointed out how easy it would be for iomega to do the increase from 100 to 200, and that there would most likley be a 30% increase in speed with the higher density.
