This is good news??? Every single treated group had a higher incidence of valvular disease. While not statistically significant on an individual basis, I suspect that the incidence of valvular disease overall is higher and statistically significant. Look at the numbers combined Treated with redux (5+1.7+6.5) = 13.2 Treated with sustained release (5.8 + 1.8 + 7.3) = 14.9 Placebo (3.6 + 1.2 + 4.5) = 9.3 And these were patients treated for only 77 days.
