Thread - especially Barbara J. Payne, & Mrs. Asensio
On Dec. 16, 1997 I posted (#1016 approx.) that I was told that the company had repurchased some of its shares on the open market. Of course, Barb & Bill immediately attacked, demanding "PROOF" (as if they ever offer any) & then finding some way to insult me and/or Zonagen & insist that I was lying. Barb then fabricated a claim that I admitted I had lied about the buyback - which of course I never did. All this can be verified in our posts in the days following 12/16.
WELL, I know you two just hate it when reality ups & bites you in the ass, but the following appeared in today's press release regarding earnings:
<<<As of March 30, 1998 the Company had repurchased 288,300 shares (including 61,500 shares repurchased in December 1997) at an aggregate average price of $18.42 per share.>>>
Now watch, Bill will foam at the mouth & snarl his usual venom. Barb? she's a little more unpredictable.
Barb - I was right, I didn't lie, you should apologize as I did to you when I mis-spoke.
