Said the first tournament wen far better than they expected. Crowds were good... said 3,000 is a good estimate. Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player both loved the style of tourny and may play again in a future event. Names like Chi Chi and Ben Crenshaw, and Daly are still in the hopper for future events.
Golf Channel covered entire event and CSGC now has good film footage to put together an investor relations packet to send not only to investors, but to use to show sponsors the actual events they will be running. This is one of his biggest points, much easier to sign sponsers when you can show them a product. It is being put on tape in these packets. Packets will also include all information on shares outstanding, debt, cash, etc.. ThE FINANCIALS.
Indeed Jack and Gary Niclaus won the event with Jack making about a 90 foot chip-in. Weather was partly cloudy, but no real problems for play or video.
Next event is scheduled to be Sept.14 and site will be announced soon. Date and site are not yet etched in stone, so don't hammer them on this point yet.
They have interviewed a few investment relations firms and are looking into their track records extensively to ensure they don't pump and dump and run into problems. This impresses me big time, I have dealt with some scum of the earth stock promoters in my day. They are impressed with one and will decide shortly.
Also, I asked how Jack and Gary were paid for the first event. IN STOCK. I like this, they are now on our sides and may buy more or tell friends. Encouraging that they agreed to be paid this way. Maybe 100,000 shares each for the 6 invitees. Save the cash from sponsors to get rolling on next event.
I forgot to ask when event will be shown on Golf Channel.
