Casey, you probably noticed I had already removed my post to which your reply refers before you had a chance to post it. Unfortunately, you were already working on your response while I was removing my post! What a comedy of errors!
My original (and now cyber-vaporized) post was a response to an error I caught in your units. I too am an engineer, and units, as we both know, are extremely important in our work. Well, embarrassingly, I latched onto the units problem, wrote a response which you read, then like a good engineer, double checked my work to make sure everything fitted together smoothly. HA! Then I reread your post again, this time with an eye to understanding more of what you were really saying.
Upon discovering that I had misread and misunderstood your position, it was then that I erased my post while you were writing your response!
Now for the good news, I agree with your challenge to the calculation presented in the originating post.
