Crossy - regarding PTUS, its pitch was [maybe it has changed by now] code factory. If memory serves, it said it is willing to license its technologies if it didn't have the capacity. The way I see it is that they didn't have the capacity [you seem to hit upon the idea regarding the AS/400.] OTOH, I ve never believed in the Y2K silver bullet, since the real problems with Y2K are the several decades of spagetti codings! The only ones who can truly make a lot of money are the body shops like Keane etc. Micro Focus was selling an analysis package called Revolve 2000. It has a lot more bang for the buck [speaking of MF, I was kicking myself for being too chicken to buy in to it - it was below 20!]
