James,

In your response you said: "I don't recall anyone saying that Joe Murphy was the only one with answers?? I have talked with Dan with PR for DCI many more times than I have with Joe, mostly because I know that Joe has a lot of demands on him and I do not wish to take up too much of his valuable time". <snip remaining stuff>

The main reason I included the pointer to my previous post was to show I knew this and to recommend this should be standard operating procedure. The following is taken verbatim from my referenced post:

"Instead of encouraging people to call Joe, wouldn't it make more sense to have them call Dan Murphy who's in charge of Investor Relations? I wouldn't hesitate to call someone with questions when I know it's that person's job to keep me (as an investor) happy. Also, if Dan gets swamped, presumably the IR office could be grown as necessary."
<snip another proposed option>
"I don't, however, mind volunteering Dan M. because I believe that to be his job."

-------
In my latest post, my reference to "calling Joe" came about because: (1) I can't recall anybody ever posting that "they've just had a long talk with Dan Murphy and they want to relate some of what he had to say" or (2) I rarely see anyone recommend calling Dan; rather, the standard recommendation whenever a sticky issue comes up is "Call Joe".

Regarding your final comment: "I don't see how lashing out at each other or management is going to help our situation in anyway".

I agree but guess I felt I was being lashed out at when I was (anonomously/indirectly) accused of being (to paraphrase) " ... too cheap to do (my) DD by calling DCI ... to get answers to tuff questions" (and for asking questions in the first place); the statements that started our little point/counterpoint.

I do plan to call Dan Murphy either later today or tomorrow with the following "tuff questions" (gleaned from my last 3-4 days of posting):

(1) How does the film distribution business work when little Muller Media can get a percentage of the action to what could be a blockbuster like "Godzilla" (thus taking it away from Sony and George Lucas Productions -- neither of which are exactly considered benevolent organizations)?
(2) Was MJZ selling at the same time he was hyping?
(3) If (2) is true, is he going to be prosecuted?
(4) Who is [technically!] architecting the building of a $100M telecom company out of a bunch of independent, potentially disparate smaller companies in order that it will be synergistic (and hence marketable) in some way?
(5) Are we relying on a Investment Brokerage firm for (4) when they lay no claim to having expertise like this?
(6) Why doesn't DCI encourage investors to call him (Dan) or the general IR number instead of taking our CEO's time?

[Note: Just to show I'm not too cheap, I'll even spring for the call :-)].

If and when I get satisfactory answers to any of the above, I'll be sure to post them. Meanwhile, I think I'll stay off the board because I'm obviously too emotionally invested in these questions to be very rational/objective (as I'm sure I'll be told).

Dan
