FYI -- The Big Dog and company will be giving a presentation next Tuesday in New Orleans at the Gulf Offshore '98 executive conference. Our topic will be about how deepwater drilling and development is not driven by the price of oil -- it is driven by technology. (Are any of you surprised by this?) We are preparing a hand out for the attendees. I will be glad to send you guys a copy if interested. Please fax me (if possible) your name and mailing address. 713 974-1107 is my Houston office fax number. I will be sending out a press release highlighting our comments as well. During my trip to New Orleans I'm going to hang out with my pal at FGII and go have a look at the HAM yard etc in Pascagoula. The president of HAM will also be presenting at the conference. Other presenters include Simmons & Co., TDI, Statoil, Smedvig, AMFELS. Should any of you wish to attend the 2-day conference please let me know and I will email you details.
